Fabio Sallustio is a PhD biologist at the University of Bari at the University Hospital of Bari, division of Medical Biology, with long-standing and consolidated experience in the “omics” sector applied to Human Health and Medicine. He has carried out scientific research at the Molecular Biology Laboratory of the IRCCS Giannina Gaslini of Genoa. In this laboratory he specialized in studies on high-throughput gene expression, acquiring specific skills in methods that use microarray chips and nextgeneration sequencing. He has also acquired skills and experience in complex statistical and bioinformatic analysis of data deriving from whole-genome studies. He has already designed several genetic tests for some Italian and international companies (Genalta srl, DF medica Italy, DF Medica Brazil) both in the field of nutrigenomics, and in the field of pharmacogenomics.
